The Team
Exhibit-K Ltd was founded in 2005 by artists and entrepreneurs, Sarah Douglas and Mimei Thompson. The company was conceived while its co-directors were completing their Masters degrees in painting at the Royal College of Art.
The premise of Exhibit-K is to use the expert insider knowledge of practising artists and graduates of London's top academic institutions to provide tailor-made tours of galleries, project spaces and artist's studios. Exhibit-K specialises in providing access to usually inaccessible art spaces while offering informed professional insight into the work on display.
Sarah Douglas
Sarah has a Masters degree in Fine Art from the Royal College of Art. She has worked in a highly successful gallery and has taught fine art at further education and BA level for the past three years. For two years she has been responsible for guiding Deutsche Bank's high net worth clients around the Frieze Art Fair. Sarah is a practising artist who was recently featured in Art Review's selection of the top 25 MA graduates. She has a studio in Hackney and in the last 6 months has exhibited her paintings and drawings in London, Berlin and the USA.
Mimei Thompson
Mimei has a Masters degree in Fine Art from the Royal College of Art. She has years of experience as a practising artist, and has exhibited extensively in both photography and painting. Mimei has organised numerous exhibitions, assisted in the running of artists' studios, and has worked for a West End gallery. She has also had experience as a visiting tutor on a BA Fine Art course. Mimei is a painter who recently organised and curated highly successful group show, Baroque My World, Transition Gallery, London. She has a studio is in Hackney.
